Ndabaningi Mabuye also known as Zubz is a Southern African rapper, born in Kasama, Zambia in July 1976.
His friends started to call him Zubz, as an interpolation of the shortened version of his name, Ndabs.
He relocated to Harare, Zimbabwe with his family and it was while growing up in Harare that Ndaba fell in love with Hip Hop and wrote his first lyric at age 12.
He became an active contributor to the culture through school variety shows.
After graduating from varsity he won a major battle at the legendary club 206 in Johannesburg.
Zubz went on to grace the stage alongside the likes of Talib Kweli, Dead Prez, Black Thought and Jeru da Damaja at Black August
He released his debut album/mix-tape, Last Letta in 2003. He has gone on to pen three more albums Listener’s Digest (2004), HeadphoneMusic in a Parallel Universe (2006), Cochlea: One Last Letta (2009) and the digital releases DragonLion FullCircle (2013).
