It was only in 2016, while working on separate projects in completely different genres in the electronic music scene, that Sean Driver and Elias Grauss finally made it into a studio together. Those first 12 hours were a watershed moment, what came out was gold. ZOOTAH was born.
With their unique take on Bass House Music, combining the classic house elements with their weird and crazy signature sound, their first tracks came at the end of 2017 and immediately created a buzz on the scene. Having produced in genres from Dubstep to Chill Vibes, the convergence of their diverse musical influences and different skillsets encouraged them to pull from well what was considered normal.
Quickly gaining the attention of other trailblazers of the likes of Bass House and EDM Pioneer, Sikdope, their tracks have found their way onto dance floors worldwide. I was not long after, in early 2018, Sikdope and ZOOTAH worked on their collaboration together -“Bubblegum”, receiving great support and airtime from names such as Don Diablo, MOTi and Yves V.
ZOOTAH have already played at Electric Love Festival and WOW Glacier Love Festival, two of the biggest electronic music festivals in Salzburg, Austria – sharing the same stages as well known Djs including W&W, Benny Bennassi, Dimitri Vangellis & Wyman as well as fellow Austrian Rene Rodrigezz.
As rising talents of the EDM scene, ZOOTAH are definitely ones to keep on your radar.
