Zining Zhang (張紫寧; Zhang Zining), known as simply Zining or Winnie, is a Chinese singer born March 9, 1996, in Chengdu, Sichuan, China.

Prior to her debut as a singer, Zhang graduated university in June of 2020, majoring in music performing, also known as vocal performing, at the Communication University of China (中国传媒大学). However, during university, she debuted as a member of the girl group MERA in 2017, and one year later, participated in the idol survival program 创造101 (Produce 101: China), adapted from the South Korean idol survival program of the same name. Zhang managed to place seventh on the show, gaining a spot in the project girl group 火箭少女101 (Rocket Girls 101) and was with the group until graduating in June of 2020 in order to pursue a solo career.
