Zac Farro is from Franklin, Tennessee and is best known as a founding member and drummer of Paramore. Following his controversial departure from the successful pop punk group in 2010, he continued as a solo artist with the indie-electronica-rock project Halfnoise.

In late 2016, his return to Paramore was teased on social media before his official return on their 2017 single “Hard Times”.
