Z The Dropout

Zackaria Simpson, better known as Z The Dropout, is a Palestinian American MC and battle rapper from Queens, New York. He started releasing music in 2019, and he later transitioned to battling online in 2020 on Hollow Da Don’s now-defunct IG Battle League. After winning an online tournament where the winner battled Hollow Da Don himself on Instagram, Z soon found himself competing on iBattleTV, with his league debut against fellow online battler CHVNK at the league’s One and Done 2 event on November 14, 2020.

As he was building up his skills on iBattle in 2021, Z signed to DNA’s Get Money Drink Water Entertainment, and he battled against more established competitors like Don Marino and Dre Dennis. In 2022, iBattleTV league owner Lexx Luthor selected Z as a Wild Card entry for Season 2 of URL’s Crucible talent program off the strength of his high-energy performances and delivery reminiscent of Mike P. Z entered the Crucible in Phase 2, having one of the best performances of the phase against Young NASA. He later advanced to Phase 3, where he faced off against Saflare Sole in a surprise one-round battle at Summer Madness 12 on September 24, 2022.

Outside of battle rap, Z has been focused on recording music, with his debut EP set to be released in early 2023. Since 2022, Z, and fellow rappers DNA, Th3 Saga, & Warren Wint, have co-hosted Attitude Era, a wrestling podcast that interviews famous faces of wrestling and battle rap from past and present eras.
