Youssef Doumbouya (born September 18, 2003), better known as Yus Gz, is a rapper from the Bronx, New York City. He began rapping in late 2021 and quickly caught the attention of the drill scene listeners with his first track, “Warzone.” After the success of his first track he began to drop tracks weekly such as “PG-13,” “Deadloccs,” and “On Hots.”

With his first few song tracks racking up millions of views, Yus gave himself the moniker “The Face of the Bronx,” which he reinforced with his track “FACE OF THE BRONX.” Said moniker was not taken lightly by other drill rappers more specifically, Sha EK who released a diss track towards Yus Gz, the same day Yus released his moniker track, entitled “Face of the what?”

His consistency and work ethic to drop a variety of tracks with a unique demon-like voice has deemed him to be one of the most creative and disrespectful Bronx artists today.

If Yus continues his steady pace of song releases and racking up millions of streams on his musical catalog, there is no telling where he’ll end up in the music industry.
