Yung Icey, born Isaiah Elijah Devoe, is a record producer from South Carolina, United States. He is best known for his work with Atlantan artist Yung Bans, producing two popular songs from Bans' early career, “Right Through You” and “Out.” Yung Icey has worked with many other artists, including Denzel Curry, LUCKI, $UICIDEBOY$, and Yung Simmie.
His production influences include Zaytoven, Sonny Digital, Cassius Jay, Metro Boomin, and TM88. He would get to work with TM88 directly, with TM88, DopeBoi, and himself producing “Pray for a Key” off Future’s May 2020 studio album, High Off Life. This was Icey’s first major production placement, also earning him his first plaque–High Off Life went gold in under an hour.
On May 7, 2020, Icey released Care Package, Vol.1, a compilation of songs he had produced being brought to all streaming platforms. The songs date from 2016-2019, with many of them being originally uploaded to his SoundCloud.
