Dominique Marque Jones (born May 29, 1993) better known by his stage name Yung Dom, is one of the newest rappers from the Connecticut hip-hop scene.
From forming relationships with New York rapper, Troy Ave to many arrests and struggles with poverty, Yung Dom has been working hard to become an established rapper.

Raised by his single mother, Dom was born into poverty with his two sisters and one brother. He lived off of food stamps and government assistance. His teenage years also dealt with many arrests. In September 2007, he was arrested and charged with a shooting case.

A few years later in July 2013, he once again was arrested for possession of dangerous weapon, and shooting. These charges put him in jail for 10 months. It was during his time in jail when Colehearted Ent Music’s Ogmhad encouraged Yung Dom to pursue a career in rapping.

He released his first mixtape on July 4, 2015, with Perfect Timing, which features a hosting by superstar DJ Bike Mike The Ruler, New York emcee Grafh, & frequent collaborator Ogmhad.
Dom is immediately rising to fame and attracted many listeners. This led him to drop two mixtapes, Real Street Shit Vol.1 and Trick Or Treat Vol.1, in the same year (2016).

Following the release of Pass The Torch, a collaborative album with Ogmhad, Yung Dom released his fourth mixtape, Real Street Shit 1.5 ‘The Appetizer’ (2019) exclusively with Mymixtapez. This project is the second installment to his first solo mixtape Real Street Shit Vol.1.
