About Yung

Yung is a Danish post-punk quartet from Aarhus, consisting of Mikkel Holm Silkjær (guitar, vocals), Frederik Nybo Veile (drums), Tobias Guldborg Tarp (bass) and Emil Zethsen (guitar).

Their debut album Falter was released exclusively in Denmark in 2014, before being shortened to an EP and released internationally as Alter in 2015. Another EP titled These Thoughts Are Like Mandatory Chores followed later that year, before the band’s proper debut LP A Youthful Dream arrived in June 2016.

The following year saw the release of a self-titled 7", before the band took some time off. They re-emerged in late 2020 with the single Progress, before releasing their second LP Ongoing Dispute in January 2021.
