Yugen Blakrok is a South African born rapper and MC from Johannesburg. She is signed to Strange Famous Records, a label founded and operated by Sage Francis, as well as I.O.T. Records, a French label.

Her first album, Return of the Astro-Goth, was released in 2013 by Iapetus Records–a South African label. It received critical acclaim and resulted in several SA Hip-Hop Award nominations, including “Best Lyricist” and “Best Newcomer.”

She is featured prominently on the Black Panther soundtrack’s fifth track, “Opps,” alongside Vince Staples and Kendrick Lamar.

On February 1, 2019, she released her second album, Anima Mysterium.
