American singer, songwriter, & actor Young Cap, 22 years old, landed a gig to open for platinum recording artist Lil Pump in his home town, Cleveland’s Agora Theatre. The show resulted in a huge growth in fan base for Cap. Following the concert he released his hit single “Shake Em’ Off” from his debut album, “Black Heart”. The release of this single seemingly sparked the flame of his career. He has over 800,000 streams on Spotify and Apple and two of his previously released singles, “Shake em’ Off” and “Middle of the night” have become fan favorites.

The Cleveland, Ohio born Daniel Czaplicki originally started making music as a 16 year old in high school at Lake Catholic where he used to hand out mix tapes from his backpack. Despite not having a label, he started booking shows at local venues & colleges before meeting Cleveland promoters Troy E & Wylie at Cleveland’s famed Agora Theater where he eventually did concerts with the likes of D.R.A.M., Lil Reese, Waka Flocka, Kevin Gates, & Cleveland’s own Grammy Award winning rap group Bone Thugs-n-harmony.

By the end of 2016, Young Cap released his first mixtape “Mistake On The Lake” which did over 500,000 plays with no label push. The mixtape included features from Cleveland legends Lil Cray & Ray Jr. His single “Bad Bitch” was a hit & created opportunity for him all over the country as he traveled from Atlanta, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Miami, Tampa, & LA within the following months. The single gave Young Cap his first national air play when Cleveland’s DJ Meel spun the record on Shade 45.
