About Yoav Landau - יואב לנדאו

Yoav Landau, formerly known as Koolfox, is an Israeli musician and DJ known as the founder and primary member of the nerdcore project, The Living Tombstone.

Yoav had humble beginnings in the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fandom, gaining quick notoriety for his 2012 remix of Eurobeat Brony’s 2011 hit, “Discord.”

After taking the fandom by storm, Landau soon ventured elsewhere, creating tracks influenced by various games and shows; his Five Nights at Freddy’s-inspired songs, in particular, made for highly-anticipated hits. One of those included the 2014 hit named after the franchise, which was his second song under The Living Tombstone that was certified gold by the RIAA, in 2013.

In 2017, Landau began working with singer-songwriter Sam Haft. Their first collaborative track, “My Ordinary Life,” would mark the beginnings of The Living Tombstone’s existence as a duo. This was the first song under the project that was certified gold by the RIAA, also in 2023. It was certified platinum on the same day.
