Yahya Omer, AKA YK, is a rapper, who was born in the United States and raised in the United Kingdom. For several years, he has been consistently working at his craft, drawing influences from old school and mainstream music with the stems of Rap, Afro and R&B throughout the years. Some of his notable achievements include numerous performances at Oxford Academy, festivals in his home country, Sudan, and a number of independent events.

When his EP Self Destruct was released in September 2018, his fan base started to grow to a wider audience, and eventually continued on to further recognition upon dropping his first official solo single, “Right Now,” in February 2019. His most recent project, entitled Pressure, was released in March 2020, thus becoming his first official debut album.
