¥ellow Bucks is a Japanese rapper from Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture. He began rapping at the age of 16 until he moved to the U.S. and was heavily influenced by American culture, incorporating it into his rap style as well.

He rose to fame in 2019 by winning the third season of Rapstar Tanjou!, a popular audition show looking to find new Japanese rappers, and his song, “Yessir” from his 2020 album Jungle went viral on various social media platforms.

He is currently affiliated with the record label ToTheTopGang, which he also founded.
