About XYLØ

XYLØ was comprised of Southern Californian vocalist Paige Duddy and producer Chase Duddy, but as of 2017, Paige went solo as XYLØ.

Being raised in a musical family, the siblings were highly influenced by their surroundings, which made falling in love with music all the more natural. After learning to play the drums with his grandfather’s help, Chase became a part of different kinds of bands. He acquired his first laptop after high school and began to experiment with beats, which gave way to his love for songwriting and producing. He reached out to Paige to provide her vocals for something he had been working on, as well as to aide in songwriting. After realizing the magic they had created, the rest is history.

In February of 2015, XYLØ released their debut single, “America,” which was followed by “Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea.” That summer, “Afterlife” premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio show as their third single, followed by “L.A. Love Song.”

Chase and Paige agree that their brother-sister dynamic has been a great contribution to their creative process in the studio:

C: There is another level of connection and I think there are some boundaries you can push with each other, where as if it was someone else, they might not be coming back over to work with you again.
