Xuân Nghi was born in Đà Lạt, Lâm Đồng, Việt Nam on May 13th, 1994, to father Duy Thoán, and mother Minh Ngọc, who were musicians and singers. As a result, Xuân Nghi naturally gravitated towards music as a young child. This would later lead her to debut as a child singer.

She would go on to win awards for her albums and also began a career as a child actress. However, in 2010, she would give it all up to study abroad in the USA. Xuân Nghi eventually was able to audition into and attend, and graduate from, the Orange County High School of The Arts (OCSA), under their artist training school.

In 2011, Xuân Nghi returned to Vietnam for a vacation, after a year of studying. During her stay, she participated in award programs and even attended a fan meeting.

Later, Xuân Nghi would return to the US and graduate from the University of Southern California (USC).

In 2019, she officially made her return to music as an indie artist, with the release of “Summer Night”.
