Homura Akemi is a mysterious character from the Madoka Magica franchise. She is one of the two main protagonists alongside Madoka Kaname. She first appears in Madoka’s nightmares before transferring to her class the next day. It is later revealed she is a time traveller trying endlessly to prevent Madoka from becoming a magical girl. She is the main character in the film Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Rebellion where she realises that something is not quite what it seems in their happy world. Homura appears in most Madoka Magica-related media such as manga, novels, and video games. Homura is a supporting character in the Magia Record franchise.
