小林亜星 (Asei Kobayashi)

Asei Kobayashi (小林亜星) is a Japanese composer, lyricist, and actor. On some websites, his name was spelled as Asi Kobayashi. He was born on August 11, 1932, in Shibuya, Japan

He worked on many songs for anime (opening and ending songs), commercials, school, tv stations, and company anthems. One of the popular songs that he composed is the Voltes V No Uta, the opening song of the Japanese animation, Voltes V.

Kobayashi died on May 5, 2021, due to heart failure.
