Born in Cairo, Xander Ghost is an artist defined by flux and oscillation – by a sense of creative purpose derived from fluidity and adaptation.

Reflecting Egypt’s own unique position in the world as well as his own state of geographical movement, Xander Ghost mixes sophisticated mid tempo experimental trap with elements of bedroom pop by fusing playful unconventional Arabic vocals. As a result, what he creates is a collision of sonic warm and cold fronts – a uniquely effervescent sound that moves between dense and airy soundscapes, building pressure and reflecting shifts in the atmosphere, from the low rumble of distant thunder to the overwhelming but almost imperceptible hiss of tree insects.
