X&G is a duo composed of Christian Williams (Xian) and Aaron Spasiano (Gaszia). They are known for producing ‘dark energy’ tracks by fusing jungle, trap, and house styles, which vary greatly in tempo and vibe.

In an interview for Timeout Beijing, the duo have said that they were formed in 2013, when Aaron was just starting to make music and Christian had just moved to Salt Lake City from Ventura, California. They got together through a label called Damn Son, where they both were making chill future garage beats and similar genres, hanging out and trying to make stuff together. They tried to make a different type of sound and then it started taking off, so they decided to roll with it and band together.
