About X Ambassadors

X Ambassadors are an American rock band from Ithaca, New York. It has three members: Sam Harris, the lead vocalist; Casey Harris, the keyboardist; and Adam Levin, the drummer. Noah Feldshuh is a former member but left in 2015.

When the band was formed in 2009, they were only called Ambassadors, and it wasn’t until later that they added the X. During these times, they were touring with other artists, including that of LIGHTS. This was also the time when they dropped their first EP: Ambassadors.

In 2012, things started to kick off for X Ambassadors. They dropped their first album, Litost, which featured the eponymous song that would go on to be the soundtrack for the 2013 movie The Host. It was also around the time of the release of Litost that they signed with SONGS Music Publishing. Imagine Dragons noticed them at around this time and asked Interscope to sign them, which they did and are still with.

2013 and 2014 were also essential years in the history of this band. They dropped Love Songs Drug Songs and toured with Imagine Dragons in 2013, and in 2014, they dropped The Reason and acted as supporting acts for both Imagine Dragons and Panic! At The Disco.

In 2015, X Ambassadors released their first full-length album: VHS. The album featured many artists, including Imagine Dragons and Jamie N Commons. A year later after the release of VHS, they released a different version of the album titled VHS 2.0 which removed all of the interludes but featured five new songs.
