About Woss Ness

Woss Ness is a Houston-based hip-hop group that originally included Mista Luv, Big Steve, Rasir X, and Devious. The group released its debut album, Da Game Done Changed, in 1997, which gained recognition within the local rap scene.

After the death of Big Steve in 1999, Woss Ness restructured and added new members, including Lil Head, Lil Steve, and Lil Woss, eventually growing to a lineup of around ten artists. In 2000, the group released 2000 Bangin Screw, followed by several more projects over the next decade, including The Only Way to Beat Us Is to Cheat Us (2001), Paper Chasin (2003), Bangin' Screw Pt. 2 (2007), and Gutta Shit (2008).

Through their various releases and evolving membership, Woss Ness has maintained a presence in Houston’s hip-hop community and contributed to the city’s rap legacy.
