Wonwoo, born on July 17, 1996, as 전원우 (Jeon Won Woo) in Changwon-si, South Korea. He is a Korean singer-songwriter. He is also a member of the South Korean boy band SEVENTEEN and its sub-unit SEVENTEEN HIP-HOP TEAM. Currently, he is signed with Pledis Entertainment.

Before his debut, in 2012, Wonwoo starred in the music video of NU'EST’s debut song “FACE” alongside with S. Coups, Hoshi, Mingyu and Woozi, and also starred in Hello Venus‘ music video for their debut song “Venus” with Hoshi, Mingyu and Woozi.

In May 2021, Wonwoo released his song with Mingyu, “Bittersweet” which featured Lee Hi as well.
