Wolf Alice is a North London Alternative Rock band. Its members since 2012 are:
Ellie Rowsell (vocals, guitar)
Joel Amey (vocals, drums)
Joff Oddie (vocals, guitar)
Theo Ellis (bass)
The band was formed in 2010 as an acoustic act by Ellie Rowsell and Joff Oddie. The band’s name came from a short story by Angela Carter. Soon after, they recruited Sadie Cleary to play the bass and George Barlett to be their drummer, but they were replaced in 2012 by the current members Joel and Theo.
In October 2013, they released their first EP Blush and their second EP Creature Songs in May 2014.
Their debut album My Love Is Cool came out in June, 2015.
The band’s sophomore album, Visions of a Life, was released on September 29, 2017.
They are signed to Dirty Hit records, alongside artists such as The 1975 & Pale Waves.
