Witto Goom, born Jacob VanHerwaarden, is an independent recording artist and producer originally from northern California. His sound is defined by haunting chants over droning guitar that inspire feelings of doom and gloom.

Goom started on SoundCloud in 2017 and began distributing in 2019 with singles “James Baxter”, “Candyman”, “Salt Circles”, and “Silhouette”, the second and fourth of which ended up on Ecclesia, his debut album. “Change for Church” has hit 320k+ streams after its August 7, 2020 release.

His most-streamed single at 380k, “Want It. Take It.”, came on January 22, 2021 ahead of his second album. We finally saw Funereal on February 26, 2021 which includes songs “Fuck U.S. To Death” and the Banshee-assisted “End The Simulation”.

A collaboration with ogxmill spawned “Massacre” on June 18, 2021. Then “Oh My!” on July 16, 2021 to promote Slug. The album, his fullest to date, dropped on on November 5, 2021.

His latest offering, Endless Night, is a three-track EP released on February 12, 2022.
