Created as a side project, Wish I Was represents the dark alter-ego of tyDi, whose real name is Tyson Illingworth. Following the release of a few tracks and speculations as to the identity of the anonymous musician, Tyson revealed his alias in January of 2015. This version of him writes and creates music “without restrictions and without expectations”, venturing out into uncharted branches of music otherwise left unexplored by his main sound. Under this alias, Tyson has released two albums: Wish I Was on August 20, 2015 and On Your Mind in 2016.
