WHOKILLEDXIX (formerly XIX) is an experimental rap duo consisting of lifelong best friends, Alex “Yung Skayda” Damian Calderon and Kareem “Karm the Tool” Casique Patterson. Hailing from Connecticut, New England, the project seemingly dates back to as far as 2017.

No strangers when it comes to genre versatility, WHOKILLEDXIX have showcased a wide variety after experimenting with (and incorporating elements of) trap metal, emo rap, hyperpop and boom bap, to name a few. They first gained notoriety within the video-sharing app, TikTok, when their track, “Kismet,” began trending and ended up being used by celebrities and internet personalities like Marshmello, Lele Pons and Alissa Violet. Later their song “spy?” also got very popular on the app. This also landed them a deal with Masked Records, a partner of Warner Music Group.
