Warp Records is an electronic music label founded in the late ‘80s.
It is now considered one of the most important labels in electronic music history, as it hosts pretty much all of the artists that contributed to the birth of IDM, a subgenre of electronic music that revolutionized how EDM was perceived in the '90s.
Pioneers of the scene include LFO, Aphex Twin, Autechre, The Black Dog, Boards of Canada and many many more.

Since then, Warp has broadened their musical scope by also inviting pop and hip hop artists, with examples such as Broadcast and Danny Brown.
