About Ward 21

Ward 21 are a group of dancehall rappers and producers hailing from Kingston, Jamaica. They are named after the psychiatric ward at the University College Hospital in Kingston. They choose that name to express their musical craziness.

The group was formed in 1998 by Andre “Suku” Gray, Mark “Mean Dog” Henry, Kunley McCarthy and Ranaldo “Rumblood” Evans, who met at King Jammy’s studio. Current members are Suku, Mean Dog and McCarthy.
