Robert O'Bryant, better known by his stage name Waajeed, is an American producer and DJ from Detroit, Michigan.
He got his start as an original member of Slum Village and by executive producing Dwele’s first album, Rize. He started producing in 2000 and has since gone on to found his own record label, The Bling 47 Group. He has also formed multiple groups, including Platinum Pied Pipers and Waajeed & The Jazz Kats. He is also a founding member of Tiny Hearts.
The name “Waajeed” means “finder” or “seeker” in Arabic.
