Dutch band, formed in 1983 by Nol Havens. The Band is known for they recordings for children. The special aspect of these recordings is that musically they are highly interesting with a huge amount of humor so that the albums are also interesting to listen to as a adult. With this approach to music for children the band creates unique moments for the whole family.
The lyrics of the songs are often taken from the famous Dutch children poem and prose writer Annie M.G. Schmidt which has a remarkable talent to dance with her writing in a ‘political incorrect’ area as a statement against ‘political correctness’ without being too sharp or to soft.
In the same spirits are the lyrics of VOF De Kunst which can bring also new life and a breeze of easiness to strangely politicize subjects like the Sinterklaas festivity days to which they dedicated a whole CD in 1993 Sinterklaasfeest met VOF de Kunst
