Unlike traditional string quartets, the Vitamin String Quartet does not have a fixed roster of musicians. Rather, the Los Angeles-based collective features a rotating cast of string players, arrangers, and producers, which likely accounts for the group’s extremely prolific output. They have been recording string quartet covers of rock, pop, rap and country songs since 1999.
