80’s inspired pop duo Video Age is based out of New Orleans and comprised of drummer Ray Micarelli and guitarist Ross Farbe. The two met in 2008 as freshmen at Loyola University, and Video Age was officially created in 2016.

Their 2016 debut album Living Alone was created when the band was still finding their sound. Farbe explains, “we made a couple songs with a really ridiculous-sounding ’80s drum box. We ended up liking those a lot, and just kind of ran with that.”

The band’s distinct retro vibe continued into their second album, 2018’s Pop Therapy.
