Victor Vernicos Jørgensen was born on October 24, 2006 in the Greek capital Athens to a Greek mother and a Danish father. Vernicos showed an interest in music at an early age, learning to play the guitar and piano. In 2020 he released his first single, Apart.

In February 2023, he was internally selected by the Greek public broadcaster to represent Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, which will be held in Liverpool, UK.
