About Vertile

Vertile (Mees van den Berg) is a Dutch hardstyle producer and vocalist. In addition, he also has experience working for musical bands, especially within the rock genre — his personal favorite and specialty.

As an electronic artist, Vertile started his musical journey from 2016 as Hush Hush, with releases on his SoundCloud page. He eventually changed his alias to Chordinatez, and started gaining notability in 2017 when he debuted on NoCopyrightSounds (NCS) through collaborations with the label’s main hardstyle artist, ElementD. This included being the vocalist on “Giving In”, and a proper collaboration in “Radiate.” The latter was incorporated into NCS' yearly album, NCS: The Best of 2017.

His current project, Vertile, started from 2019 with a release on Q-Dance NEXT. Over time, he gained significant attention in the hardstyle world, such as through his remix of Daft Punk’s “Stronger”, and collaborations with artists such as Rebelion and Adaro.

2022 marked a significant success for Vertile as he secured a collaboration with the figurehead of hardstyle and his “childhood hero”, Headhunterz, in “Before I Wake”. The track was met with great reception in the hard dance community, and eventually upheld as the hard dance track of the year Q-Dance’s community vote and I Am Hardstyle. They collaborated again the next year for the closing track of Defqon.1 2023 in “Lost Without You”; it later repeated the success “Before I Wake” in the year-end hardstyle community charts. He also secured collaborations with other big names in the genre, including D-Sturb and Sub Zero Project during this period.
