Verb (The Conscious) is a Ukrainian English-speaking artist and producer, that decided to defy the odds and bring western culture into his country through music. Born in 2003, Artem was influenced by the new wave of hip-hop, he took inspiration from Travis Scott (Rodeo), Tory Lanez (I Told You), Lil Uzi Vert (Luv is Rage 2), Tyler The Creator (Flower Boy). Although his primary language is Ukrainian, young artist learned English just to “sound like his favourite rappers” and through mirroring their style, he managed to create his own. Distorted high energy vocals, melodic flows and airy adlibs combined with lyrics that make you feel like you’re not the only one fighting through life’s tests, all of these instruments are here for a listener to keep on going through with a straight back and a smile on their face. “I always saw music as a way of expressing emotions, living them through and capturing them.
