Vaughn Monroe (1911-1973) built a restaurant and nightclub in Framington, Mass., which he ran until his death. However, he’s much better known as a bandleader and singer whose performances were often broadcast on radio. He has two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, one for radio and one for his recordings.
