Vanda & Young is the songwriting and producing duo of Australian rock musicians Harry Vanda and George Young. They first teamed up as members of the band the The Easybeats in 60s, where they started their writing partnership. After the band’s breakup in 1969, they moved to the United Kingdom and released music under various short-lived names, including Eddie Avana and Paintbox. Around this time they also sold began selling songs to other artists, including Ted Mulry’s “Falling In Love Again”.
They returned to Australia in the early 70s, where they formed their backing band, the Marcus Hook Roll Band. They also started producing, most notably for early AC/DC albums. In 1976, they formed, Flash and the Pan, a new wave group that recorded six albums before being dissolved around 1992.
