Caprice Vaughn aka Unknown Kapriest, the son of an Army father who has lived many places as a young man…born in Fort Riley, Kansas and has lived in Panama, Kentucky, and Germany; currently living in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Unknowns Music is the sounds of loving good people, protecting your family and middle fingers to the haters…At the same time, thanking his lovers and haters for motivating him to continue to never stop striving to reach his dreams and goals…That’s The Unknown Sound that he brings!

His first concert was Prince. Then he saw Public Enemy live… and from that, UK became a fan of music/hiphop and a die hard concert goer.

Influenced by Ice Cube, Scarface, Tech N9ne, 2pac and DMX, ignited the spark for him to push hardcore with his Rap Music.

In 1999, UK steps into his 1st real recording studio in Bethany, Oklahoma and hasn’t stopped making music since… and getting better and better by the second. He is now known for his exciting live performances across the United States

The first big artists he opened for was D4L (Shawty Loc) in Wichita Texas. In 2015, he opened for Obie Trice In Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 2016, he performed for 5000+ people at the Historical Cain’s Ballroom, sharing the stage with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He continued to open shows for Nappy Roots, Insane Poetry, DJ Yella & Lil Easy E of NWA, Bezz Believe, Hay Stak, Stevie Stone, Mendo Dope, MayDay, Boondox, Lil Wyte, Scum, Beastmode Warriors, Razakel, and many more.

He’s performed at Smoke Fest Tulsa, Up Next Fest Tulsa Tulsa , UKH Fest, Rhymesick Fest Wyoming, 2 Whoopz Mini Gathering Oklahoma, Rat Fest Texas, 420 Fest Tulsa. He has also been a part of the Dope Noise Tour, Wicked Killigraphy Tour, GREatness Live Tour 2019, Tulsa to KC Tour, Straight out the Jacket Tour, and Way Of The Warrior Tour 2021. He has also done fundraising shows such as: Unknown Kapriest Hoodstock for the Homeless, Toys for Tots (Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Fort Smith, Arkansas).
