Udo Dirkschneider (born on April 6th, 1952) is a German singer and songwriter best known for his work in the German heavy metal band Accept. He rose to fame as one of the founding members and vocalist of Accept and he was a part of the band from 1976-1987 and 1992-1997. When he wasn’t in Accept he was the lead singer for his other band, U.D.O. Dirkschneider released 9 studio albums with Accept and 17 with U.D.O.
