Named after a mythological being whose body was full of holes that produced music when wind blew through them, this Brazilian instrumental band was composed of Marco Antônio Guimarães, Artur Andrés Ribeiro, Paulo Sérgio Santos, and Décio Ramos. From their inception in 1978 to their breakup in 2015, the group was known for building its own custom-made instruments and using traditional instruments from both Brazil and India.
