About U.S.D.A.

U.S.D.A. (United Streets Dopeboyz of America) is an Atlanta-based rap group that emerged under the leadership of rapper Jeezy who propelled them into the mainstream after leaving Boyz n da Hood. The original lineup included Jeezy, Slick Pulla, and Blood Raw, but additional members like 2 Eleven and Boo Rossini joined the group following the release of their 2007 album Cold Summer.

Prior to their formation, Jeezy, Blood Raw and Slick Pulla had a strong bond as longtime friends and even lived together for a period. Individually, Blood Raw gained recognition with DJ Drama’s Indictment Papers mixtape, while Slick had success with 4th Ward Day. Both artists also made guest appearances on Jeezy’s 2006 album The Inspiration: Thug Motivation 102.

In the spring of 2007, U.S.D.A. released their debut album Cold Summer on the Def Jam label, often referred to as The Authorized Mixtape. Notably, Jeezy’s website garnered attention for a satirical announcement seeking applications for an all-female, all-white street team to promote the album’s lead single, “White Girl.”

Blood Raw and 2 Eleven have since departed from the group.
