Born in the year of 2002, Txmmy is a Māori New Zealand artist based in his home town of Hastings, Hawkes bay.
He is not only a writer but he also produces, records and engineers for himself and his peers. In august of 2020 Txmmy dropped his first album titled “The Introduction” and is now gearing up to drop 2 EPs, “Meet me at the top” and “Chandeliers”.
Txmmy wanted to create an authentic sound for Hawkes Bay as a whole – stating “I wanted to make something that everyone could bump to, wether your into the new school or not. I hate how the generation gap in music is at a state of so much dislike for each other, so why don’t we just drop it and spazz the fuck out with what we got”. As a teen, Txmmy would make beats for fun amongst his class mates as a way to escape, something that would later grow into a passion for production in music.
