About Two Tongues

Formed in 2008 as a side project for punk-pop practitioners Max Bemis and Coby Linder of Los Angeles-based Say Anything and Chris Conley and David Soloway of New Jersey’s Saves the Day, Two Tongues introduced elements from both acts, resulting in a spirited blend of indie rock and emo pop. The group’s eponymous, self-produced debut album was recorded at Electric Ladybug Studios in Southern California and released on Vagrant Records in February 2009. With members keeping busy with numerous other bands in the interim, Two Tongues announced plans for a first-time tour in the second half of 2016, but later canceled it. They did follow through on the release of their second LP, titled simply Two, in October of that year.
