Hailing from Oklahoma, the Turnpike Troubadours are perhaps the leaders of today’s Red Dirt/Texas Country scene. The band has been active since 2007, with five album releases. Turnpike’s front man is Evan Felker, with R.C. Edwards on bass, Ryan Engelman on lead guitar, Kyle Nix on the fiddle, Gabe Pearson on the drums, and “Hammerin'” Hank Early on steel guitar/accordion/dobro.
