Tubby first came onto the scene in early 2000, when he teamed up Sticky to record Tales of Da Hood. Soon after he signed a deal with Virgin Records.
After suffering a stroke in 2004 Tubby, real name Anthony Robinson, suffered a relapse and a second stroke. He eventially died after being hospitalized for several months
