TSL is the stage name of Vietnamese rapper, Trần Sơn Lâm. He was born in 1999 and rose to popularity in Hanoi’s independent music scene at the age of 16 after he released his first single called “420” on March 2016 with Beastmode before eventually leaving and signed onto CDSL.

Shortly after the success of his first debut single, TSL continued dropping back to back hits with Beastmode, one of the pioneer music collective in Hanoi back in 2016. He showed great potential at the age of 16 with his fast and energetic flow, alongside having a storytelling approach to his verses. This all accumulated into his early success with Beastmode.

In 2018, he switched label from Beastmode to CDSL, becoming the first rapper in the roster of CDSL. The move signaled a serious dedication to music by Lam after taking a year-long hiatus to pursue a college education.

His latest single “Nothing Left” produced by itsnk and featuring Hairan released on January 22nd, 2019 promises a strong comeback in 2019.
