Triumph was a hard rock Power Trio from Canada, with significant success in the late seventies and early eighties, their rocking songs containing very positive, through rebellious, lyrics.
With the high range vocals and virtuoso guitar, they have been compared with another Canadian “prog rock” power trio, Rush, but staked out their own sound and success.
