Trippie Redd and The Kid LAROI’s friendship was initially sparked via their mutual connection to fellow artist, and good friend, Juice WRLD.

However, it was only following Juice’s December 2019 death when they’d make their first known collaboration, “Outside” — with six separate renditions having multiple different features and instrumentals.

The two artists signature Emo-Rap sounds converged on “Wind”, which was never intended to release, until 2023, when Trippie got a hold of the song. “Wind” is also their first collaboration to ever see release.
