TRF {TK Rave Factory) is a Japanese dance-vocal unit consisting of MC Koichi “DJ Koo” Takase, former ZOO vocalist Yu-ki Kitamura, and former Mega-Mix dancers Masaharu “Sam” Maruyama, Chiharu Muraki, and Etsuko “Etsu” Nishioka (maiden name Koide).
The group was formed by namesake Tetsuya Komuro, who would write and produce for the group from their inception in 1992 until 1996. He wouldn’t work with the group again until 2013 with the release of the mini-album “WATCH THE MUSIC”
Popular songs include “EZ DO DANCE”, “BOY MEETS GIRL”, “masquerade”, and “Samui Yoru Dakara…”. The group is signed to Avex Trax.
The group’s name was originally stylized in all-lowercase, but has been in all-caps since the single “Hey! Ladies & Gentlemen”, save for a brief reversion to the former in 2013.
